Scholarship Description

Against The Grain Productions offers the Groundbreaker Leadership Scholarship of $1,500 to support Asian American students of any major.

Scholarship Details

  • Merit-based with a video
  • Deadline for application is May 31st
  • Against The Grain Productions Board members and their families are ineligible

Eligibility Criteria

  • Asian and/or Pacific Islander
  • High school senior or full-time college student
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Record of exceptional, innovative leadership

Application Process

  1. Gather all required documents, including:

    • Essay
    • Video presentation
    • Letters of recommendation
  2. Complete the application
  3. Submit everything in advance of the deadline
  4. Participate in a committee interview

Applicants must submit thank-you videos if chosen to win the award.
